Quilted Monogrammed journal

Simple Embellishment - Rickrack

Take two rickrack trims...weave them into each other...and you have a new trim!


I used a mint green and a white one to embellish this pouch...the white is slightly bigger than the green one...

Painted Peacocks

Its realy easy to jazz up something and make it look festive just by painting it!

My cousin gave me a tunic of hers to paint sometime ago. The yoke part was  framed by the trimming and basically empty. She wanted me to paint some flowers but I added a couple of peacocks with the flowers.



Here are some detail pics... I used copper for the legs, beaks and creeper stems to highlight the copper in the trim.






I continued painting the creeper around the back too!
